Long sequences for a 1x coverage of 'Clementine mandarin' genome (about 380 Mbp) will be produced by Sanger technology at IGA and will jointed to the sequences produced at Genoscope (France, 7x Sanger) and Joint Genome Institute (USA, Sanger + 454 Titanium) under the International Citrus Genome Consortium (ICGC) for Citrus genome sequencing. IGA will be also involved in the genome assembly effort.
